Hedy Rock is the director and master teacher of the Pennsylvania School of Classical Ballet. Her mission
is to joyfully introduce students of all ages to this exquisite art and to maximize the dancing potential of each student.
Ms Rock has been teaching since 1981. She studied with renowned teachers, including M. Lavrovsky, and was certified to teach
the Vaganova Syllabus by the Russian Ministry of Culture. She was a member of the Corps de Ballet of Ballet Clasico Venezolano,
for five years, under the direction of Nina Novak and Rodolfo Rodriguez. Ms Rock has extensive experience performing and staging
the classical repertory, and her school offers training and performance opportunities at all levels. The Nutcracker and a
variety of excerpts from celebrated classical ballets are performed annually. 2011 marked our twenty-sixth year of staging
Nutcracker performances!
